Circulation rules
- General books are issued to eligible members as per their entitlements. Reference books and bound volumes are not issued outside the library.
- Check books thoroughly for missing pages or damage while borrowing. Damaged books will not be accepted; mutilated or spoiled books must be replaced by the borrower.
- Books issued will not be accepted back on the same day.
- Readers may reserve books already issued at the circulation counter.
- Loss of a book must be reported immediately. Late fees apply until the loss is reported.
- Books are reissued only if there are no pending claims.
- Borrowing privileges may be withdrawn in case of misbehaviour or misuse of the library.
