About Admissions
Admission to Indala College of Engineering is based on merit in MHT-CET. Refer to mahacet.org for details on CET.
All college admissions are done as per the rules and regulations of the Competent Authority, Directorate of Technical Education / State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
For the First Year of Engineering Degree courses, the Competent Authority, the Commissioner of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, shall be the authority for the CAP. Admissions for First Year Engineering Degree Courses will be done through CAP for the following categories: Maharashtra State seat, All India seat, and Respective Minority Seats.
To become eligible, it is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to register by filling the Online Application Form for all category CAP seats and Institutional Quota seats (Vacant seats after completion of CAP rounds).

UG Direct Second Year Admissions
For Diploma holders and B.Sc. holders, AICTE has permitted entry into the engineering degree programme through lateral entry directly into the Second Year. These admissions are based on Diploma marks and are completely handled by the State CET Cell. Normally the intake capacity is 10% of First Year intake capacity. Any vacancy after all rounds of admissions will entitle the college to fill up the seats at the end. There are no Institutional Quota admissions in DSE.

Admission Cancellation
- 1
The Candidate shall apply online for cancellation and submit a signed copy of the system-generated application for cancellation of admission to the institution.

After receiving an admission cancellation request from the Candidate, the institution shall cancel the admission immediately and generate an online acknowledgement of cancellation of admission through institute login, and issue a signed copy to the candidate.

The refund of fees before the cut-off date of admission shall be made within two days, i.e. total fee minus the processing charges of Rs. 1,000/-.
- 4
If the admission is cancelled after the cut-off date of admission declared by the Competent Authority, there shall be no refund except the Security Deposit and Caution Money Deposit.

Need-based financial assistance for eligible candidates from economically weaker sections.
Government scholarships and fee reimbursements as per State CET Cell and DTE norms.

Admission Criteria
Eligibility requirements for First Year and Direct Second Year Engineering admissions at Indala College of Engineering.
First Year Degree Courses in Engineering
- 1Candidate should be an Indian National.
- 2Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational Subjects obtaining at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
- 3OR Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
- 4OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Direct 2nd Year (Lateral Entry)
- 1The Candidate should be an Indian National.
- 2Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
- 3OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC or Association of Indian Universities recognised University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject.
- 4Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First Year Engineering Program along with Second Year subjects.
